Learning Objectives
The primary objectives of the Nuclear Cardiology for the Working Technologist — What I Need to Know course are to enable participants to:
- Distinguish between the various cardiac protocols and develop acquisition parameters for one's own lab
- Discuss cardiovascular disease in detail and how it relates to patient management decisions
- Interpret basic ECG rhythms
- Recognize artifacts and potential processing problems
- Understand basic interpretation of perfusion images
- Discuss the importance of quality assurance programs

CE Credit
The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology is a recognized provider of ARRT Category A credit for technologists. The Nuclear Cardiology for the Working Technologist — What I Need to Know course has been approved by ASNC and is accepted by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board for 14.25 ARRT Category A credits.
Registration Fees
The registration fee for this program is $365 for members and $415 for non-members if registered by July 17, 2009 and $415 for members and $465 for non-members if registered between July 18 and September 23, 2009. On-site registrations will be accepted if space permits. Payment must accompany your application. You will receive confirmation of your registration via e-mail. Registration fees include program syllabus materials, breakfast, lunch, refreshment breaks, and admittance to the ASNC2009 opening reception.
Special Offer: For an additional $100, attendees may attend both the Nuclear Cardiology for the Working Technologist — What I Need to Know course and ASNC2009.
Cancellation Policy
Registration cancellations received by July 31, 2009 will be eligible for a full refund less a $50 administrative fee. For cancellations made between August 1 and August 31, 2009, a $75 administrative fee will apply. No refunds will be given for cancellations or no-shows after August 31, 2009.
