Target Audience

This course is designed for technologists who are performing CT angiography or wish to do so.

Objectives

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe X-ray physics
  • Discuss basic CT instrumentation
  • Develop cardiac CT protocols
  • Describe the importance and properties of contrast agents
  • Recognize basic cross-sectional anatomy
  • Explain the role of CT in the cardiac management process

CE Credit

This course has been approved by ASNC and is accepted by NMTCB for 5.75 ARRT Category A credits.

The SNMTS will add the Category A credits received from this activity to SNMTS members' VOICE transcripts.
