Health System Reform
On March 23, 2010, President Obama signed into law the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, a comprehensive health care reform bill that was more than a year in the making. Subsequently, Congress passed H.R. 4872, the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, which makes changes to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. This bill is awaiting the President's signature.
The complexity and broad scope of these legislative changes to the health care system are daunting, but ASNC will provide members with numerous updates about key provisions that will impact nuclear cardiology practices nationwide.
