Congress is working fast to address health system reform, and ASNC is actively working to ensure that Congress understands the value of cardiovascular imaging to Medicare patients as Members of Congress draft legislation. Both the House and Senate intend to pass their health care reform legislation by the end of 2009. As Congress works through the process of finalizing legislative language, ASNC will disseminate information about polices that impact nuclear cardiology practice and patients' access to imaging services.
