A message from the ASNC Past-President, Dr. Robert Hendel, M.D.
"The Nuclear Cardiology Foundation was born out of a need to ensure the growth and development of our specialty. Its mission does not involve politics or financial reimbursement. Instead, the Foundation is focused on three primary areas: 1) patient and public awareness, 2) new basic and clinical research, and 3) forging new directions with emerging technology. With these goals in mind, we hope that the Nuclear Cardiology Foundation will permit nuclear cardiology to expand into new areas and continue to serve cardiovascular patients now and in the future."
