Introduction

The Nuclear Cardiology Knowledge Self-Assessment Program (NCKSAP) is an entirely Web-based resource designed to test users’ knowledge of physics, instrumentation, diagnostic tests and procedures, radiation safety, application of nuclear cardiology procedures including myocardial perfusion imaging, radiopharmaceuticals, risk stratification, and other related topics.

Participants purchase access to the program online, selecting a username and password to allow access to the program.  Participants will answer the questions one by one. Upon selection of an answer, the correct answer will be displayed, followed by a discussion and references.  When all questions are completed, users may review a total and percentage correct within each topic area.  The complete NCKSAP exam consists of 107 questions.

This online activity was released September 2001. The latest revision was released May 1, 2007, and will expire on May 1, 2010.
