Learning Objectives:

  • Describe signs and symptoms of ATTR-CM, diagnostic work-up and the therapeutic landscape of amyloidosis.
  • Explain the importance and testing to rule out light chain amyloidosis
  • Recognize polyneuropathy in diagnosing patients
  • Discuss the importance of genetic testing in effective patient management
  • Identify high-risk scenarios for suspected ATTR-CM
  • Define current and evolving treatments for ATTR-CM and when to prescribe
  • Develop strategies for appropriate patient management and multidisciplinary needs within a center of excellence.
