Lessons in AppropriateTc-99m PYP Imaging for Diagnosing Cardiac Amyloidosis is a new video series that provides information on best practices for the acquisition, processing, interpretation, and reporting of Tc-99m PYP for diagnosis of transthyretin cardiomyopathy.
The videos explore:
- image acquisition and the importance of SPECT imaging,
- recognizing false positive and false negative studies,
- helpful tips for image processing,
- the use of qualitative and quantitative interpretation,
- case examples illustrating best practices, and
- accurate reporting of study findings.
